How to take (समय और अनुपान)

When: After meals.

Anupan: Take right after the meal with just a little water (2–3 sips). If you feel like drinking more water, take it 1 hour after the meal instead. This keeps to the Nadi Vaidya rule of no water for an hour after meals.

Dose: As printed on the label, or as advised by your vaidya after Nadi Pariksha.

Inside the Formula: Shastrokta Wisdom & Modern Research
Ayurveda describes recurring, one-sided headache as ardhavabhedaka and headache in general as shiroroga. Pitta and vata are aggravated, often by irregular meals, poor sleep and stress. Migraine Care is built on the classical rasa-yoga Shirahshuladi Vajra Rasa, supported by medhya herbs that calm the mind and cooling pishtis that pacify pitta.

Shastrokta view: A classical rasa-yoga from the Shiroroga chapter of Bhaishajya Ratnavali. As its name says, it is meant for shira-shula (headache). It forms the backbone of this formula.
Dashamoola · Roots of ten herbs
Shastrokta view: The classical group of ten roots is the best vata-shamaka. It is used in vata-type headache and for the nervous system.
Godanti, Praval, Kapardak, Shankh, Kaharva & Abhraka · Classical preparations
Shastrokta view: Godanti bhasma is the classical preparation for shira-shula and jwara. The others are sheeta-virya pitta-shamaka pishtis and bhasmas, and Abhraka supports strength.
